Text Banking
Access your account from any phone with Text Banking. Text Banking allows you to receive balance information and transfer funds within your account using text message commands. This service does not require an app and works on all phones. It offers a quick and easy way to perform common banking functions without having to login to Home Banking.
Text Banking Commands
Once you’ve enrolled in Text Banking, you can begin using it by texting commands to 226563.
BAL – View account balances
HIST – View recent transactions
XFER – Transfer funds between accounts
HELP – Get assistance
LIST – Receive a list of available commands
STOP – Disable Text Banking
How to Enroll and UseText Banking
Enroll in Text Banking
- Log in to Home Banking.
- Navigate to Preferences and select Text Enrollment.
- Use the toggle switch to enable Text Banking.
- Enter the phone number you would like to use.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions
- Click Save.
You will receive a confirmation text message once enrollment is complete.
Set Up Accounts for Text Banking
Before using Text Banking, each account must be enabled and assigned a nickname.
- In Home Banking, select an account from your account list.
- Click Details & Settings.
- Use the toggle switch to enable Text Banking for that account.
- Click the pencil icon to create a Text Display Name (nickname).
Note: Nicknames must be 4 characters or fewer. These will be used when sending text commands.
Disable or Unenroll from Text Banking
You can opt out at any time using one of the following methods:
Option 1 (Home Banking):
- Log in to Home Banking.
- Go to Preferences and select Text Enrollment.
- Use the toggle switch to disable Text Banking.
Option 2 (Text Message):
- Text STOP to the service short code.
