Supporting Students and Parents to Unlock Financial Opportunities

The Cyprus Goal Getters Program empowers students and parents by providing financial support for extracurricular activities, clubs, and team trips. We understand that these enriching experiences often come with a cost, and we want to help students kick-start their savings journey. We believe knowledge is power. Through this program, Goal Getters gain practical skills like budgeting, saving, and planning.

A Cyprus guest speaker will conduct a parent/student meeting to explore student savings plans tailored to their unique experiences and financial needs.

Cyprus Credit Union will offer students a head start with $225 when opening a Learn & Earn account.* Goal Getters can jump-start their savings journey and be better prepared for upcoming expenses. Beyond just saving, this head start is an opportunity for Goal Getters to learn about money management, set goals, and watch their savings grow. By involving parents, we create a family-wide commitment to financial education.

1 Available on new checking accounts opened after September 1, 2024. Not available on secondary accounts. Must enroll in E-Statements and complete one debit card transaction within 180 days of account opening to qualify. $50.00 will be deposited into account within 30 days of meeting all eligibility requirements.

2 Must be age 13 or older to enroll in Home Banking and the Learn & Earn learning platform. Primary account holder (the teen) must log in to Home or Mobile Banking under their own username to qualify. Must complete the Teen Learn & Earn: Savings, Teen Learn & Earn: Spending Smart, and Teen Learn & Earn: Budgeting skills to qualify. $100.00 will be deposited into account within 30 days of completing all required skills.

3 Direct deposit must begin prior to 19th birthday to qualify. Direct deposit must be an electronic deposit of paycheck, pension, or government benefits from an employer or government entity to qualify. $50.00 will be deposited into account within 30 days of eligible direct deposit.
